County Treatment Locations

The two largest sewage treatment districts governed by the Board of County Commissioners are:

Clackamas County Service District No.1 serves unincorporated areas in the north part of the County, as well as the cities of Milwaukie, Happy Valley and eventually Damascus.
Tri-City Service District serves the cities of Oregon City, West Linn and Gladstone.

Independent districts, such as Oak Lodge, serve the Oak Grove and Jennings Lodge area. Two smaller treatment plants serve Boring and Hoodland.

The cities of Wilsonville, Lake Oswego and Sandy are among other areas independently served by their own wastewater treatment systems.

Open Houses set for wastewater pipeline route options

Water Environment Services (WES), on behalf of the Clackamas County Service District No. 1 invites the public to attend two open house events to learn about wastewater pipeline route options under consideration. The Intertie 2 pipeline will divert wastewater flows to CCSD #1 facilities under construction at the Tri-City Water Pollution Control Plant in Oregon City. The pipeline project is a key component of the River Health Capacity Management Program and the agreement between the county and DEQ to protect the Willamette River.
