July 10, 2008: Board authorizes funding to finance expansion of sewage treatment capacity for Clackamas County Service District No. 1
Clackamas County’s murky wastewater treatment picture just became a lot clearer.
The County will finance sewage treatment system expansion through the sale of up to $95 million in revenue obligations, the Clackamas County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) unanimously decided Monday night following the final of two public hearings.

Repair work on the 82nd Drive Bridge over the Clackamas River near High Rocks is expected to start in late July or early August. The bridge will reopen for public use by the end of 2008.
