Regional Wastewater Treatment Advisory Committee

The Regional Wastewater Treatment Advisory Committee is a coalition of regional partners that will focus efforts on areas of commonality between the Tri-City Service District and Clackamas County Service District No. 1. The committee will explore such issues as the potential for capturing the benefits of economies of scale through co-investment in future infrastructure projects, developing a unified permit strategy, coordinating regulatory compliance efforts and partnering in efforts to secure grant funding and influencing of legislation that has the potential of impacting both districts. The committee is represented by the cities of Damascus, Gladstone, Happy Valley, Milwaukie, Oregon City, West Linn, the unincorporated areas of Clackamas County Service District No. 1 (CCSD #1) and the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners.

Commisioner Paul Savas, representing the Governing Board of CCSD #1 and the Tri-City Service District, is an ex-officio member.

The BCC, acting as the governing body of Tri-City and CCSD #1, formally appointed nominees from each jurisdiction to the Advisory Committee in February 2010.
