Water Environment Services seeking citizens to serve on service district budget committees
Clackamas County Water Environment Services (WES), on behalf of Clackamas County Service District No. 1 (CCSD #1), is seeking citizens to fill one vacancy on its Budget Committee beginning spring 2011. CCSD #1 provides sanitary sewer and surface water management services to areas of unincorporated north Clackamas County, Happy Valley, Boring, and communities of the Hoodland Corridor.
WES is also seeking citizens to fill two vacancies on the Surface Water Management Agency of Clackamas County�s (SWMACC) Budget committee, beginning spring 2011. SWMACC provides surface water management services to unincorporated Clackamas County properties within the Lower Tualatin River watershed and the City of Rivergrove.
Budget committee members reside in the service district they represent and are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to serve three-year terms.
Citizens within CCSD #1 or SWMACC who are interested in applying for one of the Budget Committees may apply online on the County's Web site, http://web3.co.clackamas.or.us/citizenin/app.asp, by requesting an application form from the Office of Citizen Involvement, (503) 655-8552 or at the Public Services Building, 2051 Kaen Road, 4th Floor, Oregon City.
Application deadline is Thursday, March 10, 2011.
